WHAT:
Igniting for the third year, this year’s Fire in the Fourth festival is set for Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 3 to 11 p.m. Hailing the historic Great Atlanta Fire of 1917, which burned over 50 city blocks in the Old Fourth Ward, this year's fête will celebrate with a never-before-seen interactive installation of the 100-year history of Boulevard. The festival features blazing main stage music performances, fiery theatre performances, and a diverse offering of live, local musicians, dancers, visuals artists, circus performers and more. All proceeds from Fire in the Fourth will benefit the Old Fourth Ward Business Association’s beautification and public safety initiatives. The event is open to all ages and free to attend.
