More on Keisha Jackson:
Born in Brooklyn NY, Keisha is the daughter of legendary soul singer, Millie Jackson. At age 17, while pursuing a career in Entertainment Law, she began singing background for her mother. It was during this time Keisha decided to change her career path. After relocating to Atlanta, GA she was signed to Sony Music, where she recorded 2 self-titled albums. Led by Mr. Ray Chew, Keisha was hired as vocal section leader of BET’s Sunday Best season 2, which gave her the credibility and know-how to lead the vocal section for 3 consecutive years on BET/Centric’s 2009-2011 Soul Train Awards (led by Musical Director, “Wizard” Jones).
Ever-consistent yet ever-changing, Keisha has recently become co-host of Dash Radio's Soul Sisters alongside the daughters of James Brown and Issac Hayes. They can be heard every Thursday on Pure Soul station 5-7p EST. The legacy continues!
Keisha is currently recording her third record, a Soul/Blues inspired effort for which she has released her first single Give You My All (available now).
