RELEASE: More Than 1,300 Guests Set to Attend Inaugural La Fête du Rosé on May 5
ATLANTA - Atlanta's first-ever rosé festival, La Fête du Rosé, will take place Saturday, May 5, from 12 PM - 8 PM in Historic Fourth Ward Park. Attendees will be required to dress in their finest pink and white fashion for the all-day event, which will feature a stellar entertainment lineup including headline performer DJ CASSIDY, Atlanta-based DJ Babey Drew and DJ Stormy, and New Orleans-based band Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces.
The event's culinary offerings include five gourmet picnic basket options curated by Chef Kelis Rogers of Bounty & Full Catering, Cinco De Mayo-inspired dishes from two local food trucks, and sweet treats and specialty drinks from vendors King of Pops and Orleagian Snowballs. Also, Reformation Brewery will be onsite to debut their new rosé ale, Alani the Lighthearted. Attendees are encouraged to pre-purchase gourmet picnic baskets and discounted bottles of rosé to bypass lines onsite.
In addition to a Kentucky Derby viewing area, the event will feature a lifesize game area with chess, checkers, Connect Four and Jenga-inspired games as well as a 16 foot-tall live graffiti art installation that will transform into a photo op for attendees as the day progresses.
The event will be cash-free, and only credit and debit cards will be accepted onsite. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enter. No outside food and beverage will be allowed into the event. Attendees should bring pink and/or white blankets for open lawn picnic style seating and lounging.
Following the sell-out of VIP tickets, event organizers announced that they would be adding an additional 50 VIP tickets for purchase, which are currently available first come first serve at rosepicnicatl.com. General admission ticket options will be available for purchase through Friday, May 4.
