Atlanta looks to sweep back-to-back with Indiana
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Dream looks to sweep the Indiana Fever in the second game of a back-to-back this Saturday, June 16 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., beginning at 7pm ET. The game will be streamed live on WNBA League Pass.
Tiffany Hayes scored 23 points to help lead the Dream (6-4) to a 72-67 victory over the Fever Thursday afternoon in front of 6,561 fans at McCamish Pavilion. Atlanta has now won three straight against the Fever but are searching for its first win in Indianapolis since August 28, 2015.
The Dream have not swept a back-to-back series since defeating Connecticut in consecutive contests on August 23, 2015 and August 25, 2015.
Indiana (0-10) finished with four players in double-figures Thursday, including a team-high 17 points for Candice Dupree. Being guarded by Hayes, rookie sensation Kelsey Mitchell was held to only two points during the midday game.
After Saturday’s game, the Dream will travel to New York to face the Liberty Tuesday, June 19 in the Westchester County Center beginning at 7pm ET.
