Bert’s Big Adventure’s Fall Reunion Adventure at Dave & Buster's
On Sunday, September 30, a record number of Bert’s Big Adventure children and families gathered together to enjoy an incredible day at the Fall Reunion Adventure at Dave & Buster’s in Marietta.
There were 85 families in attendance, for a total of 435 people! The kiddos and their families, the Bert’s Big Adventure staff, and a handful of volunteers, had the opportunity to explore the arcade and play games, enjoy delicious food, and reconnect with the Bert's Big Adventure community.
Attendees also crafted handwritten letters for The Bert Show’s Big Thank You campaign to help show their gratitude to every serviceman and servicewoman deployed this upcoming Thanksgiving.
The afternoon would not have been possible without the help of Dentistry for Children and Family Orthodontics serving as the sponsor of this wonderful event. Bert’s Big Adventure®, is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
