Suwanee Beer Fest Returns

The Southeast’s biggest St. Paddy’s Day party is back!

Recognized as one of the biggest and best craft beer festivals in the Southeast, the award-winning Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival returns on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 12-5 p.m. Thousands of people will swarm Suwanee Town Center Park on St. Patrick’s Day weekend to drink samples of more than 350 craft beers from breweries all over America. Tickets go on sale January 11th at suwaneebeerfest.com, and this event is poised to sell out in advance.

Suwanee Beer Fest stays true to its name and reputation, and event organizers are committed to giving people the best craft beer experience possible. “Although the event continues to grow in size each year, we do not want the overall experience to be compromised. We have put a lot of work into developing an efficient layout and additional signage for the event,” says Event Marketing Associate Lizzy Kidney. “The event lineup features dozens of new breweries and even offers plenty of options for the non-hop heads in the crowd as well, with unlimited samples of wine, meads, ciders, hard-seltzers, bourbon and more!”

For those feeling extra festive, Suwanee Beer Fest takes place on St. Patrick’s Day weekend and is a festive celebration complete with costumes, kilts, Irish dancers, live music and more. Those feeling extra festive can enter the St. Patrick’s Day contests for best outfit, best beard, best kilt and the best dressed couple for a chance to win awesome prizes from event sponsors.

Suwanee Beer Fest is 21 and over only. Tickets are $50 starting January 11th and increase to $55 on February 14th. Event organizers are also dedicated to giving back to the community, and as tradition holds, will donate a portion of the proceeds to local charities. This year’s benefiting charity is Cooper’s Crew, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness to cure childhood cancer.
