Atlanta favorite Park Bench joining The Battery Atlanta entertainment scene in 2020
Popular dueling piano bar and live music venue complement the south’s preeminent lifestyle destination
The Battery Atlanta announced today that dueling piano bar Park Bench will join the complex’s ever-evolving list of entertainment destinations in 2020. The well-known piano bar and live music hot-spot will relocate from Buckhead after 25 years to a 6,565 square-foot space in The Battery Atlanta, expanding its fanbase to Cobb county and neighboring communities.
Park Bench will host live music throughout the day and night, from local musicians, national bands, cover bands, and more. The bar’s dueling piano concept, introduced in 2013, offers an interactive audience element by allowing song requests, inviting toasts and good humor. Recognized for its atmosphere and eclectic mix of shows, the venue will offer visitors an entertainment experience unlike any other in the area.
“The Battery Atlanta has quickly established a reputation for offering the best live music and entertainment options to our guests,” said Jeremy Strife, senior vice president and general manager of the development. “We believe the energy at Park Bench will complement The Battery Atlanta’s preeminent dining, shopping, living, and entertainment experiences.”
The relocated bar and venue will have multiple patios, VIP bottle service and private event space. Open seven days a week, Park Bench will feature a variety of performers and genres, including country, alternative and rock. With acoustic acts in the afternoon, dueling pianos in the evening and live bands into the late-night, the Atlanta community can experience the sounds from the stage throughout The Battery Atlanta.
Park Bench will be located across from Wahlburgers and Cru Food & Wine Bar on the corner of Heritage Court and Battery Avenue and is scheduled to open during the 2020 baseball season.
