About CHIRINGA Nestled in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, CHIRINGA was founded in 2018 by restaurateurs Andy McKoski and Travis Brown. CHIRINGA, Spanish for “kite”, reminds diners and imbibers of the “free-flowing” summer days at the beach. Modeled after the open-air beach bars called "Chiringuitos" along the southern coast of Spain that McKoski frequented in his travels, CHIRINGA's menu features surfside-inspired grain bowls, dips, salads, sandwiches, tacos and plantains, available with fresh fish and clean proteins. Guests can also enjoy a full bar serving frozen and handcrafted cocktails made with freshly-squeezed juices, craft beers and full-bodied wines. Deeply rooted within the community, CHIRINGA’s inviting counter-service model offers an intimate, airy uplifting structure that promotes a “come as you are” and communal hangout for guests to experience elevated beach food. The high-flying kite in their logo symbolizes their “Eat Well + Fly High” motto and emphasizes the bright, bold, and flavorful tastes of fresh beach cuisine. CHIRINGA, pronounced (CHI-RIN-GA), is located next to the Town Green Fountain at 34 South Main Street, Alpharetta, Georgia 30009. For more information, visit www.chiringa.com or call 770.802.8940.
