50 Shades of Gray, White and Beige: America Loves Neutral Paint in 2023

Is color disappearing from our homes? When it comes to interior and exterior painting, Americans have a lot of color options, but a new report shows American homeowners are sticking to neutrals.

According to an analysis of Google search trends, the top 10 paint colors in the U.S. are mostly some shade of white and gray. And Americans have no problem picking up a roller or a brush to whitewash their homes. According to a survey of 1,000 homeowners, 93% have painted at least one room in their home and have spent an average of $439 on interior paint projects in the past year.
