Alpharetta's Carson Kitchen Introduces New Summer 2022 Menu

Alpharetta’s Approachable Eatery with Reimagined Comfort Food

Offers a Variety of New Dishes Along with Well-Loved Favorites

ATLANTACarson Kitchen, known for its approachable fine dining ingredients served in a casual setting, has introduced a variety of new menu items in time for summer. The menu, offering shareable social plates, entrées, sandwiches, flatbreads, and delectable desserts, plus a list of refreshing cocktails, all reflect Carson Kitchen’s reimagined comfort food.

“We’re making the most of the summer season with a wide range of items that will appeal to all of our guests,” said chef and owner Cory Harwell. “Our kitchen team has carefully prepared many new amazing plates and entrées made with fresh, seasonal ingredients that make our dishes really shine.”

In true Carson Kitchen fashion, Harwell has put his culinary twist on classic menu items including the pork meatloaf and hot dog burnt ends. Carson Kitchen’s version of the chip butty, a famous sandwich from the U.K. filled with french fries, is reinvented with a soft-shell crab, and the short rib steak is prepared like a Mississippi pot roast.

Among the new dishes at Carson Kitchen are:

  • Hotdog burnt ends with BBQ glaze and high brow ranch

  • Grilled oysters with mojito mignonette and mango pearls

  • Crawfish tacos with tasso ham slaw

  • Chip butty with soft shell crab and HP aioli

  • Salmon served with mango-lime salsa

  • Short rib steak served with Mississippi jus and pepperoncini pesto

  • Korean fried tofu with zucchini noodles and kimchi vin

  • Watermelon & feta (pictured below) with cucumber and white balsamic

  • Cold carbonara with pancetta and pecorino cheese

  • Cauliflower with chermoula and harissa cashew butter

  • Swiss chard with radish and smoked almond

  • Berry posset with Moscato blueberries

New drinks include:

  • Dodgy Bastard is made with bourbon, lemon, ancho chili, and kiwi

  • “What Is That, Velvet?” combining gin, velvet falernum, fresh lime, almond, allspice, and pineapple

  • Shandy Cheeks mixing peach vodka, lemon, strawberry, and lager beer

  • Choose Joy with Japanese whiskey, lemon, lychee, coconut, and lemon juice

Return guests do not need to worry as fans can still get favorites like the crispy chicken skins served with smoked honey and the glazed donut bread pudding drizzled with three rum caramel and vanilla crème anglaise. The extensive drink menu not only includes mixed drinks but also lagers and ales, wines, gluten-free drinks, and specialty sodas.
