Get ready for a celebration like no other! The Roswell Derby de Mayo Block Party is set to transform the city on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, blending the Southern charm of the Kentucky Derby with the vibrant spirit of Cinco de Mayo for an unforgettable day of fun.

From 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, attendees are invited to don their most fabulous Derby hats and snazzy sombreros for a unique fiesta that promises excitement, delicious food and drinks, and lively entertainment throughout the Roswell entertainment district.

"What happens when you mix the Kentucky Derby with Cinco de Mayo? You get a fiesta like no other!" exclaims the event organizers. "Think big hats and seersucker suits meets bright colors and mariachi bands. Mint juleps and margaritas will be flowing, while tacos add a spicy kick. Dress up in your best Derby or Cinco de Mayo outfit – or mix and match! It's all about having fun."

The festivities kick off with registration check-in at Gate City Brewing (43 Magnolia St, Roswell, GA 30075) from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Here, attendees will receive their event wristbands and map handouts listing participating establishments and their offerings to start the party.

Beyond the fun, the Roswell Derby de Mayo Block Party will also support a worthy cause. A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit Red Heart Horse Retirement, Rehab, & Rescue 501c3 @ Sunny Brook Stables in Marietta, GA, an organization dedicated to the well-being of horses.
