ATLANTA DAIRIES IS A VISION NOW REALIZEDWITH NEW TENANTS, REOPENINGS + PROGRAMMING

Memorial Drive Historic Redevelopment Project Now Includes Local Brewery and Renowned Holiday Event

ATLANTA: Despite the challenging setbacks of the past year, the redevelopment of Atlanta Dairies at 777 Memorial Drive was able to make significant progress towards substantial completion of the 11-acre mixed-use project. During the past month alone, Paces Properties was pleased to have announced notable changes such as the opening of its long-awaited brewery, Three Taverns Imaginarium, and the re-opening of its Dairies Coffeehouse & Cold Brew Bar. Most recently rumor had it a Miracle was happening at Atlanta Dairies, which wasn’t entirely untrue. Miracle Bar Atlanta, the wildly popular and legendary Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar and restaurant serving holiday cocktails in a festive setting, confirmed a Miracle Bar would be ringing in this holiday season at Wonderkid within Atlanta Dairies. “Atlanta Dairies was once a truly iconic and thriving manufacturing business and pillar of the community for almost 60 years, but when it shuttered its doors all of us sadly witnessed the slow and painful decay of this once bustling and special place into an unrecognizable eyesore. Atlanta Dairies has evolved from a vision to a tangible reality to be enjoyed and experienced again. We brought Atlanta Dairies back from being forgotten and to reclaim its rightful place in the hearts of many and in Atlanta’s history,” said David Cochran, President and CEO of Paces Properties. “We maintained an expansive area in the center core of the project, also known as The Yard, to offer our patrons a generous open-air experience with lush surroundings and seating areas that’s indescribable other than to say its one of a kind in Atlanta. When you pair such rare features in a project with our open container liquor license for the property, you really have no reason to not stay all day.” Three Taverns Imaginarium, an extension of Decatur’s Three Taverns Brewery, opened its doors last month after liquor licensing delays due to COVID-19. The Imaginarium is equal parts laboratory, brewery, and tasting room and features an expansive indoor space as well as spacious patios on the ground level and on the second level overlooking The Yard. From rotating kiosks to pop-up stations, The Imaginarium also plans to complement its beer offerings with curated small bite food offerings. The design-heavy interiors and finishes for the brewery were concepted by Metaleap Creative with the architecture designed by Square Feet Studio. Dairies Coffeehouse & Cold Brew Bar has reopened its doors to patrons with an updated menu as well as plenty of precautions in place to ensure the safety of guests and staff alike. This popular and innovative coffeehouse is known for its 14-tap cold brew bar with rotating specials, custom beverage blends, handcrafted mocktails, frappes and delectable food choices. For the time being, Cold Brew Bar is only open for outdoor dining, and mask-wearing, as well as social distancing to ensure safety, is required. While Wonderkid has been open throughout COVID-19 offering takeout options as well as to-go cocktails, the restaurant is now set to also host one of this year’s Miracle Bar Christmas pop-ups, Miracle at Wonderkid, adding to the existing Miracle and Sippin’ Santa lineup in Atlanta. The contemporary spin on the classic diner will feature Miracle’s signature festive cocktails, as well as seasonal fare, and will be decked in holiday décor and serving up plenty of Christmas cheer at Atlanta Dairies. The Yard will be open to Miracle patrons and the spirit of the holiday season will abound, providing a safe and accessible experience for everyone this holiday season. While guests can get into the Christmas spirit by night, by day they can still enjoy all of Wonderkid’s delicious offerings including its convenient grab-and-go storefront and market options such as basic household items and its popular pouch cocktails. Atlanta Dairies is a nationally recognized AIA, SHPO, NPA award-winning development and was recently recognized as “Best Mixed-Use Redevelopment” in Modern Luxury’s 2020 Real Estate Awards. Paces Properties, the developer and owner, is currently leasing remaining space for entertainment, retail, restaurant, and office tenants and continuing the transformation of the building that’s in historic Reynoldstown into an epicenter of economic growth and investment activity.
