ATLANTA - Get ready for another year of runway magic! Avalon and Bert’s Big Adventure are excited to announce that tickets are on sale now for the ninth annual
Noon to Night: Fall Fashion Benefit, returning to Alpharetta’s mixed-use destination on September 21.
The event will feature an evening of fashion and fun benefiting
Bert’s Big Adventure, a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and
terminal illnesses and their families.
This year, the show will commemorate the nonprofit’s 20th anniversary by doubling the talent pool and having 20 Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos modeling alongside 20 local “celebrities.”
"Each year at Noon to Night, our Bert's Big Adventure kids are treated like royalty, and it's their moment to shine in the spotlight," said Bert Weiss, founder of Bert's
Big Adventure and host of The Bert Show. "It's a full day without hospital visits or medical jargon – a day to simply be pampered. We are currently accepting
applications for our 21st Bert’s Big Adventure trip in February 2024 and are grateful to be working with Avalon again to provide our families and the Alpharetta
community with memories that will last a lifetime."
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a reception including cocktails and fare from Avalon’s famed eateries. Afterwards, emcees Christine Pullara Newton and Monica
Kaufman Pearson will invite attendees to participate in a “Fund the Need” fundraiser with all proceeds going directly to Bert’s Big Adventure’s year-round
programming. Guests will also be encouraged to bid on exclusive items from Avalon’s retailers and restaurants, along with a variety of unique Atlanta experiences.
At 8 p.m., the iconic blue runway will come alive with a fabulous fashion show featuring Bert’s Big Adventure kids and Atlanta celebrities modeling the latest fall
collections from the destination’s retailers, spanning day to evening wear looks. Prior to the show, the participating kids will spend the day in true model style,
pampered with hair and make-up styling sessions, live entertainment and more. Following the fashion excitement, VIP guests are invited to The Hotel at Avalon’s
rooftop for a post-show celebration.
“Noon to Night has become a truly beloved tradition not only for Avalon, but the entire Metro Atlanta community. We’re thrilled to support our friends at Bert’s Big
Adventure for the ninth year running and can’t wait to celebrate the organization’s 20th anniversary with our biggest show yet,” said Nina DeCristofano, Avalon
marketing manager.
Tickets are available now, with general admission for $50 and VIP admission for $150. VIP tickets include reserved priority seating for the fashion show, a private
space with exclusive cocktails and hors d'oeuvres pre-show, a Noon to Night gift bag and access to The Hotel at Avalon after-party.
Since its inception, Noon to Night has raised $438,000 for Bert’s Big Adventure. To learn more, please visit www.bertsbigadventure.org.
