Dr. Alexandra Pillat Provides New Premier Children’s Psychology Clinic in Reynoldstown

ATLANTA (August 12, 2021) — One Life Child Development Center is excited to announce that it will be opening its doors this month at Madison Yards in Reynoldstown. Founded by Dr. Alexandra Pillat, the psychology clinic specializes in early childhood diagnostic and therapy services, serving children ages one to 18 with developmental disabilities.

“I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to help make a difference as I know firsthand how it can change a child’s trajectory,” says One Life Child Development Center founder and chief psychologist, Dr. Alexandra Pillat. “Having been diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, I know the importance and impact an early diagnosis can have on someone’s life and I want to be able to make a difference in other children’s lives. My goal with the center is to really help the younger generation to overcome their challenges, maximize their strengths and defy stereotypes.”

Located in the heart of Intown Atlanta, the 1,500 square foot space offers a variety of learning environments, ranging from smaller assessment rooms designed for one-on-one experiences to large areas for group therapy, as well as a naturalistic, play-based learning atmosphere. The waiting room features an educational play area for clients and their families to enjoy.

One Life Child Development Center offers clients and their families a personalized, thoughtful and modern experience in a comfortable and nurturing environment. The center will serve children with various developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopment disorders, including anxiety, dyslexia, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Services will include diagnostic assessments, therapy, parent coaching and consultations. The goal of the clinical staff is to develop strong parent partnerships and tailor diagnostic assessments and therapies for each child.
