Plan The Best Vacation YET!

Everyone deserves some time off for the hard work they put in whether in school or working a full-time job. Life is too short to not treat yourself sometimes! The following tips were generated by travel blogger Samantha Brown who will be speaking at Atlanta’s Travel & Adventure Show, which will be Saturday, October 16th and Sunday, October 17th at the Georgia World Congress Center. Samantha is currently a host for her own series Samantha Brown’s Places to Love on PBS, and will be sharing her travel tips and experiences, among many other travel experts, with Travel & Adventure Show attendees. This event will offer 200+ currently available vacation destinations, travel-focused educational seminars, and more! Purchase tickets at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2021-atlanta-travel-adventure-show-tickets-160974239283. Without further ado, here are the promised tips from Ms. Brown herself.

1. For starters, watch a movie to inspire the urge to travel!

While many tourist attractions and locations were closed for a long time due to COVID-19, lots of places are starting to relax their regulations and are starting to open up to the public. Watching a movie that takes places in a city of another country or an exotic island can definitely trigger that urge to book a vacation right then and there! Check out her list of favorite movies on her blog at www.samantha-brown.com.

2. Make a Pinterest Board

Pinterest is useful to find recipes, look for outfit inspirations, and ideas for DIY projects, however, it is just as good for searching for new places to visit. With hundreds of stunning photos and travel guides to discover, dream big!

3. Contact a Travel Agent

Travel agents are always on the market for booking vacations for recurring and new clients. Besides the fact that they are a great source and are knowledgeable on a multitude of locations, they are always on the lookout for good deals for their clients too.

For those who utilize this guide, always remember to travel accordingly to travel restrictions and regulations, and most importantly, to have fun! Tickets are available starting at $11 for a one-day pass and $18 for a two-day pass. Children ages 16 and under can attend free. Active men and women in the U.S. armed forces are invited to present a military identification prior to the event or at Will Call for free admission for up to four members of their family.
