Momocon Returns to Georgia World Congress Center

Momocon 2023 was held at Georgia World Congress Center's Exhibit Hall B. It's larger than Exhibit Hall A, where it was held previously, so there was more space for guests and events. There were more exhibitors, more programming, and more fun! With the new hall, there's also a larger variety of food options, as well as plenty of seating areas for relaxing between panels and events.

The convention was buzzing with energy and excitement as thousands of attendees from all over the world flocked to Atlanta, Georgia for the ultimate celebration of anime, gaming, and pop culture. This year, the convention was bigger and better than ever, with more space to accommodate even more amazing panels and activities. From the amazing cosplay showcase to the panels on current trends in the industry, there was something for everyone.

There were panels on a variety of topics such as anime voice acting, game development, virtual reality, and much more. There were also lots of exciting activities such as game tournaments, art galleries, and even a live music performance. There were alot more panels than previous years. With the extra space, the convention could accommodate more unique ideas such as History of Black Mermaids, Disturbing Animation and even Are you smarter than an anime rapper? I was so inspired by the creativity that I am actually planning a panel for 2024.

Every year the cosplay at this Atlanta-based convention gets more and more impressive. This year, the attention to detail in the costumes was overwhelming. From the classic superheroes to the more obscure Japanese anime characters, there was something for everyone. I was especially impressed by the Batman and Catwoman costumes that were based off of the 1992 blockbuster hit Batman Returns. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was truly remarkable. With such creativity and enthusiasm, its no wonder fans continue to flock here year after year.

Momocon 2023 was incredible! The experience was unforgettable, with amazing panels, activities, and cosplays. Lines were very long at times, but the wait was worth the wait. Despite the pandemic, Momocon made sure that all safety measures were in place and still managed to host over 48,000 guests this year.
